Creating and Uploading Price Books in Planufac

This guide explains how to use the Price Books feature in Planufac to quickly set prices for specific product groups by uploading a pre-prepared template.

Why use Price Books?

• Tailor Pricing for Groups: Price books are useful for creating different pricing tiers or discounts for various customer groups or product categories.
• Bulk Upload: Uploading via a CSV template is ideal for updating prices for multiple products simultaneously, saving time compared to manual entry.
• Verify Pricing: Always review the uploaded pricing before saving to ensure accuracy.

Required to Create a Price Book

1. Access the Price Books Section

• Log in to Planufac.
• Navigate to the Sales section and select Price Books from the available options.

2. Create a New Price Book

• By pressing the green + button, enter a Price Book Name in the provided field.

3. Prepare Your Price Book Template

• The template should contain the following columns:
  1. sku – The product SKU (e.g., "MAIN-SKU").
  2. price – The price assigned to the product for this price book (e.g., "7.99").
  3. qty – The quantity relevant to this pricing (e.g., "150").

4. Upload the Price Book Template

• Click the Browse button under Import Products to select your completed template file.
• After selecting the file, click Upload.

5. Save the Price Book

• After the products and pricing details have been imported, review the price book entries.
• When you're satisfied with the information, click Save Price Book to apply the price settings for this group.
