Changing Weight Units on Picking and Packing Slips
Updated: November 20, 2025
We're excited to announce a new feature in Planufac that gives you more flexibility when printing your picking lists and packing slips. You can now customise the weight unit displayed—switching between KG (kilograms) and G (grams)—to match your operational needs.
This update ensures your slips reflect the most relevant measurements for your warehouse team, reducing errors and improving efficiency during the picking and packing process.
How to Change the Weight Unit
Follow these simple steps to configure the weight output in your Planufac dashboard:
- Navigate to Settings: Log in to your Planufac account and click on Settings in the main navigation menu (located in the left side).
- Access Misc Settings: In the Settings menu, select Misc Settings from the sidebar. This section houses various customisable preferences for your account.
- Update Weight Unit: You'll see a toggle option labelled Picking Lists Packaging Slips Units.
- Select KG for kilograms.
- Select G for grams.
- Save Changes: Click Save this Setting at the right corner. Your new preference will take effect immediately for all future prints.

Pro Tip: Test a sample print after saving to confirm the change. If you're using bulk printing, ensure all team members are aware of the updated format to avoid confusion.
